I have one of these (the earlier version, no moonlight) in my office on my desk. I love it! I keep one gorgeous male betta in it and he is thriving. The pump is extremely quiet. I don't worry about keeping the pump above the water level and it works just fine. The provided gravel is part of the filtration system; you can cover it with large, shiny rocks but I don't mind how it looks on its own. I really enjoy the decorations you can use in the baby biOrb; I have the small grass ring that goes over the bubble tube in the center and several bright, weighted "plants". Haven't tried the fuzzy ball decorations yet but I will when I get tired of the current set-up. My betta seems very healthy and happy. I keep the water level lower than recommended so he has plenty of surface where he can get air. This has been a very peaceful, pretty addition to my office.

I spent some time looking around for a good fishbowl and this exactly matched what I wanted.

I only have a little beta fish but I hate seeing any fish in a tiny container. And I wanted an aquarium to get air into it. This was perfect.

I like the moonlight feature. It's a nice bluey glow at night.

The pump will be loud if you don't place it on something that can absorb vibration. But that's as you would expect.

I have no complaints. I like it as so does my fish.

it's a nice tank. the media they give you isnt enough and you really should get that grass ring to complete the tank.

****note that it scratches very easily. i dont touch or move my tank but somehow it has an ugly scratch now right in the front. no clue how it could have got there but it pretty much ruined the whole attractiveness of the tank.
i guess i'll have to buy the scratch removal pads and hope they work

note that this tank distorts the size of items inside it. that means you put a rock that fits in the palm of your hand in there, and it looks brick sized.
your fish may be hard to find due to the distortion, or it may be 3x the size.
